Rocky Mountain High, Pt. I: Anomaylcon 3
So two weeks ago (I know, I know!), I flew out to Denver, CO to attend Anomalycon 3: All Things Punk as a guest of honor alongside the illustrious and lovely Gail Carriger. A little before and after the con, I was able to get some R&R with friends. I’ll blog about that in part two. The short of it is that I had the most fun I’ve had in a long while, and I am grateful to Kronda Seibert and everyone at Anomalycon 3 for having me out and being so wonderful. There have been a lot of more timely and awesome dispatches circulating already, (see below for a list of linkage) but I wanted to touch on a few things from my own experience that I found unique and worth noting.
[Apparently I’m awful at taking pictures too. All images (except the one of my swag) are courtesy of Katherine Valdez and were taken from her own dispatch. Be sure to check her out. If you reply to her blog post about AnomalyCon by midnight on April 13, she’ll enter you in a drawing for a DVD of the movie STRANGER THAN FICTION starring Will Ferrell, which Katherine says is “a must-see for all writers!”].
